Assistant Director of Finance 2023-01-11

Job Responsibilities:

• Take a leading role in the Oracle ERP system implementation project
• Monitor the month end closing and preparation of management accounts
• Monitor group cash positions (including daily cash positions and rolling monthly cash flow forecasts) and review supplier payments
• Work with auditors in group annual audit/interim review and meet tight deadlines under Stock Exchange
• Deal with external parties such as valuers, tax representatives and bankers, to meet all statutory and legal requirements, such as tax filing and loan covenants compliance
• Review budgets and monitor performance of hotels in different regions, including Hong Kong, United Kingdom, Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, China, Austria and Germany
• Work with marketing team on proper accounting and tax treatment of group loyalty program
• Assist CEO and CFO in corporate finance and capital market transactions, such as M&A, loan financing and other fundraising activities
• Involve in other finance and accounting functions, including Accounting, FP&A and Tax, etc.
• Assist in ad hoc projects as assigned

Job Requirements:

• University graduate with a degree in accounting or a related discipline
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Financial Management, Corporate Finance, Auditing
• HKICPA, ACCA, AICPA or equivalent
• Big 4 audit experience preferred
• Strong corporate accounting background preferred
• Experience with Oracle system implementation highly preferred
• Knowledge on FLEX accounting system is a plus
• Hotel and/or real estate sector experience is a plus
• Strong financial modeling and financial analysis skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong language skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)
