Procurement Officer - Hotel Operations 2022-03-21

Job Responsibilities:

  • Purchase hotel items for daily operations
  • Co-ordinate and liaise with authorized vendors / suppliers for the price, stock availability and lead time for production & delivery
  • Perform proper purchasing procedure in accordance with the hotel policies and procedures
  • Maintain good relationship with user department and suppliers
  • Liaise with external parties to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Conduct quotation and material costing comparison
  • Monitor suppliers’ performance to ensure high standard of products
  • Maintain awareness of potential sources, products and cost savings opportunities
  • Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time

Job Requirements:

  • A diploma holder or above in Hotel Management/ Supply Chain/ Business Administration or related disciplines
  • At least 3 years of procurement experience in hospitality industry
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive and independent
  • Good command in spoken and written English and Chinese, proficient in Mandarin is an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office(Word, Excel) and Chinese Word Processing
