Job Responsibilities
1. To achieve high standards of service in the Housekeeping Department, ensuring maximum comfort for the hotel guests
2. To report to the office for daily assignments. Keep track of guest history and guest preferences, to anticipate the guest needs.
3. To allocate daily work and any special assignments to the Room Attendants.
4. To issue keys to Room Attendants and ensure that they are handled properly according to the key procedures.
5. To check occupancy according to Room Attendant’s report. Send report to Housekeeping office. Keep corridors, guest lift areas and service lift areas clean.
6. To conduct daily briefings to Room Attendants. To assist them with special requests from the guests and attend to their complaints.
7. To check the cleanliness and maintenance of the following:-
- Vacant rooms according to Fidelio’s report and to check and report about the variance.
- That the occupied and check-out rooms are cleaned on time and within the standards required. No discrepancies.
8. To ensure Out of order rooms are ready and released as soon as possible.
9. To report all maintenance defects in their correct procedures and to ensure that they are remedied promptly.
10. To ensure all amenities and magazines in the room are adequate and properly placed as indicated.
11. Responsible for proper stock of linen and supplies for floors assigned.
12. Conduct On-the-Job Training and daily briefing.
13. Carry out a special assignment that is given by the Executive Housekeeper or the Assistant Housekeeper.
14. To ensure all Room Attendants have a complete understanding of and adhere to the hotel’s policy relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health, and Safety.
15. To enforce rules and regulations of the Department and Hotel.
